Temp Mail Plus is provided for convenience. This page sets out plainly what it is not suitable for, so that nobody learns it the hard way.
Not for anything you need to keep
Every mailbox here is temporary and every message is deleted on a schedule. There is no archive, no backup and no recovery. If you use a disposable address for an account you care about, and later need a password reset sent to it, that account is lost. Use a permanent mailbox for banking, government services, work, medical matters, domain registration and anything else with lasting value.
Not private
Guest mailboxes have no password. Anyone who knows or guesses the address can open it and read what is inside. Treat everything received at a guest address as readable by strangers. Mailboxes belonging to a registered account are private, but even then this is a free service, not a secure channel.
No guarantee of delivery
Many services refuse to send mail to known disposable domains, and lists of such domains are updated constantly. A message may therefore never arrive, and we will not know why. If a signup fails, try a different domain from the list, or use a permanent address for that particular site.
Not for breaking rules
Using a disposable address to evade a ban, to create bulk accounts against a site's terms, or to defraud anyone, is against our terms of use and may be against the law where you are. The service exists to spare you unwanted marketing, not to help anyone misrepresent themselves.
Content of messages
We do not control what is sent to your temporary address and we do not endorse it. Messages may contain links to sites we have nothing to do with. Treat mail from unknown senders with the same caution you would in any inbox: attachments can be hostile and links can be false.
Availability
The service may be interrupted, and may change or end without notice. It is free and comes with no warranty of any kind, express or implied.
